<p>Do you have to take all the subject tests before you apply (so you take them junior year)? Or can you take one of the three in May/June of senior year?</p>

<p>You can take SAT Language tests in May or June of senior year if you think you will hit 600+ and thus be able to opt out of the foreign language requirement. But still need to have 3 SAT subject test scores as part of your application. The latest is January of senior year.</p>
<p>I’m a soph so if I take Math Lvl 2 this June, and I’m taking AP Chem next year (planning on AP Phys C E&M and Mech senior year), I’ll take Chem SATII next year (june), so what else should I take Junior year? SATII Literature? I’m in Latin III right now but I don’t really enjoy it so I would prefer to not take the SATII in it.
Does this sound okay?</p>
<p>If you take AP US History the SAT2 is really easy. My son considered taking the Latin, unlike the other languages the curve doesn’t get wrecked by native speakers, but he opted for history instead. There will be a fair number of juniors taking Latin who will be in Latin IV having started in middle school. You don’t have to decide now. Some time next year, go to the website or a library and look over sample tests and see what looks like the best fit for the courses you are taking as a junior. Ideally then you’d take two tests in the May or June sitting.</p>

My school offers AP English Lang or AP English Lit senior year. Because I’m on the honors track, I take Lit. SO next year I just take honors. But many kids on this track take the AP Lang exam anyways. So I’m asking if studying for that would help prepare me for this:
