I have an urgent need to register for a 3 or higher unit class right now. Anything is fine, but preferable I would want something that satisfies the 7 breadth requirement for L&S and/or is easy. Thank you…

Try PMB 13. There is an essay due on Wednesday. Attendance @section is 5% of your your total grade so it won’t matter that you’ve missed the last 3 classes.

Sadly, I’m already registered for that class. Really, any class would be fine, as long as its at least 3 units. I’m planning to take it Pass no pass anyways, so the grading shouldn’t matter much as long as I don’t fail with the assignments I’ve missed. Anyone have any suggestions? I’m desperate ! ! !

Calicious, do the GSI’s grade section differently?

My GSI says attendance is 10%, participation is 30%, and essays are 60%.

@Ankur, that’s the same as my GSI. Just didn’t want to confuse the OP (so I converted the 10% section grade to 5% total grade haha). Who’s your GSI? I heard one of the GSI is using weekly quiz as part of your participation grade… yikes!

^ I believe that would be Chris Brown.

OP, you could try History 127AC (History of California). Plenty of open seats, fulfills the Historical Studies breadth requirement, and there are only two assignments (which aren’t due until later in the semester), a midterm (in a few weeks), and a final. You will have to catch up on quite a bit of reading, though.

Lol, Chris Brown. I have Andrew

Haha, I have Andrew Hagen as well ;)! W 2-3?

lol, nah, u would know who I was if I had the same section. I’m W 3-4
