I hope someone here in the college confidential community can help me answer this question…

As of this moment, I’m a freshman student at UNR and I’m applying as a transfer student to USC. As I filled out the application, I realized that I was not required to input my SAT score if I had at least 30 transferable credits. Well, I completed 19 credits at my university during the fall semester, however, I also have AP credits. I passed 8 AP exams in high school, which could give me a maximum of 32 credits. Adding all my college credits, this would definitely exceed the amount of transferrable credits required to allow me NOT to submit my SAT scores. Due to the fact that I did not do so well on the SATs, I would not feel comfortable sending it to USC. So my question is, do my AP scores qualify as transferable credits that would allow me NOT to submit my SATs scores?

Credits in progress count towards the 30 credit minimum thing. I asked my regional counselor dude about it earlier this year and it’s to make sure that you’re enrolled at your current school as a full-timer.

You my want to check about the AP credit. My son got credit for only one out of 6 AP classes towards his degree. The rest can count as elective credit but he only has one elective out of 4 years.
