<p>1976 and the year leading up to the bicentennial was one of my favorite times. Yet I was not aware of this incident. Thanks for giving me one more thing about the period to smile about.</p>

<p>Personally, I deplore flag burning. I think the only time we should allow the flag to be burned is when politicians wrap themselves in it.</p>
