I don’t know if it was posted before but I figure I’d show you guys

http://www.unl.edu/amc/e-exams/e6-amc12/e6-1-12archive/2009-12a/spry_perfect/2009PERFECTPic-final5.pdf

those are the perfect scores. If you scroll down to the bottom, Michael Ma, from Wyatt Elementary.

It looks like we have ourselves another Terence Tao.

I swear I’m not trying to be racist but I find it funny that almost every name on the list is Asian -_-

lol I also know one of the kids on that list geez

Hm…so Obama wants us to go to school year round because we’re falling behind? (in reference to the amount of asian kids on there; even asians in the US).

Roflmao, that’s pretty cool.

China has more children in honor roll classes than we have children, so it makes sense.

^ India also. I didn’t know about China.

[Texas Metroplex Math Circle](Texas | Metroplex Math Circle)

Is Texas the intellectual center of the universe?

There are a couple 6th Grade USAMO qualifiers each year as well. And 7th Grade USAMO Winners :stuck_out_tongue: (coughdavidcough). And I think the kid who won ARML at Penn State (Alex Song? Off the top of my head, to lazy to look it up) was in middle school too, or so I’ve heard.
There are some pretty brilliant kids out there, in almost every field.

If you just take a look at the results for Arizona and the first page of California, you’ll find the following non-Asian perfect scorers:

10A 7 BRAKENSIEK JOSHUA Veritas Home School Tempe AZ
10A 9 SPENCE RICHARD Sonoran Sci Academy Tucson AZ
12A 10 O DORNEY EVAN Berkeley Math Circle U of CA Berkeley CA
10B 9 GOLDBERG ADAM Goldberg Home School Danville CA
10B 10 PINSKER NATHAN Palo Alto SHS Palo Alto CA
10A 10 SAXENA AMRIT Aragon HS San Mateo CA

So although Asians make up the majority, there is a sizable population of non-Asian perfect scorers as well! =]

^ Amrit Saxena is an Asian name…
Edit: sorry for bump

… That is unbelievable…

this is a while ago… Evan O Dorney is the guy who won Intel this year… wow

and he made it AGAIN. 3 year in a row. I’m really interested to know what his score is.

did you have a good day at elementary school son? yes mo- QUICK WHATS THE DERIVATIVE OF

I feel like such an underachiever. :|

^ No, you should feel that life is so unfair that people this young have such precious gifts of intelligence, and you don’t.
