I have a 1600 SAT and a 36 ACT are there 3rd Party scholarships that I am guaranteed.
No. None guaranteed. You need to apply. And the generous outside scholarships are competitive ones.
And many of the BIG awards also have a need component as well. Is your family low in ime?
From other threads…your GPA is 4.75 weighted. There are some colleges where a perfect SAT and a high enough GPA would give you a pretty good merit scholarship.
It looks like you are concentrating on Cornell, which gives only need based aid. If you have financial need, your need will be met there if you are accepted.
Hope younare also considering some other colleges where you would, get very good merit awards…
@CourtneyThurston any pointers for this student?
It is hard to find guaranteed scholarships from outside. If anything, it would be rather small and from your local community. The best scholarships for you would be from the university.
@thumper1 Cornell is the School I will ED to. The rest of the schools are Carnegie Mellon, MIT, Harvard, University of Illinois–Urbana-Champaign, UT Austin, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Michigan Ann Arbor and UT Dallas. At UT Dallas I will get full ride because of my scores but I don’t wanna go there do I have a chance at getting merit scholarships at the other schools?
Apply for the 40 Acres scholarship at UT Austin the best money comes from the schools themselves.

None guaranteed. Guaranteed at SCHOOLS? Yes. Check out the automatic merit scholarship yolasite.
All outside scholarships are competitive, meaning you have to apply to be considered (none automatic). And while stats are important to qualify/make it through a preliminary cut, they’re not going to win you much or anything: community service, ECs, recs, and essays really make the difference.
Some of the schools on your list …Cornell, Harvard. MIT don’t give merit scholarships at all?
Are you instate for any of the publics. The ones you have listed are not generous to OOS students, and don’t guarantee to meet need for ALL accepted OOS students. Some have merit awards. But you would have to apply and wait and see.
How much will your parents pay per year?
Do you have a financial safety school that you DO want to go to? If not, you need to find one. UT Dallas isn’t a safety if you don’t really want to go there.
Your list is short enough to have your parents run the Net Price Calculators and talk to you about budget.

Correct…some of these schools NEVER give merit.

Apply to some more private schools that offer need based aid. You shouldn’t expect to get into a school below a 10% acceptance rate. I know that I was offered very generous scholarships from Michigan State and Minnesota, so you may want to look into those schools.
Also I had a 35 ACT (pretty close to your score), and the only “elite” schools I was accepted to were Cornell and Northwestern. A high test score may get you scholarships at public colleges, but it isn’t as likely at a private school. Just have a lot of different options so you can make a smart choice later
