Harvard’s my top choice, but I will only have 2 SAT subject tests completed by the end of junior year. I looked at Harvard’s website and they want scores by mid-January, so that means I have 3 chances to take the Physics SAT in fall of 2010 right? Is this accepted but not recommended or they frankly don’t care? Also, how hard is it to score a 800 on the physics? I’m only in physics I honors right now, and I’ll take physics 2c senior year, but how ready will I be to take physics SAT in the beginning of senior year? Any recommended test prep schedule? Books? Thank you so much!

uhhhhh, after honors and some ap you should be fine. the curve is huge. memorize your formulas and be good at mental math bc no calculator. if you’re decently good at physics and prepare 800 is def. do-able. princeton review if you already have a good understanding. they don’t explain the formulas or variables great. but if you already kinda know it gives good practice at the end of sections and in the practice tests. don’t forget to check the chapters because i found my class barely touched optics, or em induction, and i also needed to completely do oscillations on my own. so make sure you know what’s on the test and study what your class may not have covered.
