From reading these posts, the SAT on 4/1 seemed like it was insanely difficult. Can anyone verify that ?

Unless you took it, I don’t think you’ll know for sure . . even if the test was insanely easy, there would probably still be the same amt of discussion/confusion . . It seems that the CR from Test 1 was easier than Test 2’s however . .

But I took Test 1 so I guess this cannot be proven for sure

Bump this up

Every time there’s an SAT, there’ll always be a number of people complaining about the difficulty and a number of people claiming it was easier than the version they took X weeks/months/years ago.

Out of curiousity, Taiko, which one was “Test 1” and which was “Test 2”?

One test was the “pails” question in Math and the other test had the “chairs” question. The one with pails seemed to have easier M but harder W and the one with chairs seemed to have easier W but harder M.

I realise that; I was just wondering which was “Test 1” and which was “Test 2”.

I also disagree with your assessment - I had the chairs version, but I found the writing unusally hard and the math much easier than in October. :)

distinguishes between Test 1 and Test 2

Thank you, Taiko.
Apparently I had Test 2.

Haha . . . and your statement . . .

I like this bit of irony, made me giggle. :)

I was waiting for someone to catch that.
Took longer than I expected.

what does it mean when someone says “bump” ?

Bumping a thread is posting something meaningless to get/keep the thread at the top of the list.

“bring up my post”

Yep, seems more people thought Test 1 was easier too.

gotta agree with you

had your version

and

math easy
writing hard
but the good thing is SECTION 6 IS EXPERIMENTAL!!!
