Why is that number so low?

I have no idea why the number of Econ students is low, besides the fact than not one person I know enjoyed their college Econ class…
For Spring 2010 it was 425 students in College of Liberal Arts - Econ majors; Fall 2009 it was 405
I really like statistical information. You can find all the numbers here [Texas A&M Student Enrollment and Demographics Reports, Data, Statistics](http://www.tamu.edu/oisp/student-reports/)

The people your talking about, were they taking the principles of econ classes or were they actual econ majors. Thanks…

sorry just the requred econ course back in my day - days of dinosaurs ;0) And I was in Engineering

And if you study the statistical data - there are tons of Majors with a lot small numbers of students. So 400 +/- in a major is not low at all sort of average… that starts around page 53 of the document…

Just a heads up, ECON 201 (Microeconomics) will suck. Good luck if you have Allen too.

I’m a transfer, so I will have credit for Econ 201. I’ll watch out for Allen though. Thanks for the advice…

Parker - Same to you, Thanks.
