49 unit junior transfer. will ap scores bring it up?

I have a couple questions:

I took calc ab, european history, and us history in highschool. will the ap tests give me credits towards the req 60?

where do i send in my 2 year high language classes for IGETC? My CC or UC?

Should i send my 2020 SAT scores from highschool. Will the UC’s even look at it?

Thanks, much appreciated

Assuming you took those 3 AP tests and passed with a score of 3 or better, 2.7+5.3+5.3=13.3 49+13.3=62.3 so you’re over the required 60

The CC certifies IGETC so the hs transcript goes to the CC (I think you need to also send your HS transcript to the UC you get into plan to attend?)

Probably not?

where are you getting those numbers from?

also, another question: when do i send in my ap scores and transcripts???

The numbers are here…
http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/counselors/files/CC11_UsingAPforAdmission_final.pdf

And you send the transcripts/ap scores to your community college anytime, and then the quarter before you transfer (this spring quarter probably) you have to submit a form for the CC to certify IGETC (at least that’s how it works at my CC). If the UC wants any of your transcripts I’ll assume they’ll tell you once they admit you.

Doesn’t the amount of units you get from AP credit vary from UC to UC?

You have to check their respective websites and calculate accordingly.

^^ That’s what I thought.

The units for AP credit appear to be uniform across the UCs, but the subject credit may vary between campuses or even divisions or majors on a given campus.
