When will all those adults who continue to support fraternities demand that this kind of reckless, sadistic behavior be stopped? Once and for all??
Why should ANY young college student have to face a brutal hazing, in order to join a god damn organization that is supposed to promote BROTHERHOOD???
I am SO tired of hearing from the “hear no evil- see no evil - speak no evil” fraternity apologists who cant see the forest from the trees on this issue!
This is sad. Poor kid’s parents must be devestated. Maybe a nice stint in prison will dissuade ‘like minded’ people from doing the same as those frat guys.
frats are legalized gangs. they draw in insecure people who need the validation of others and those people are willing to do stupid, illegal and dangerous stuff to gain acceptance. I wish the greek system would disappear from college campuses not because they are banned but because the collective beliefs of those drawn to join frats/sororities changed and realized the greek system and what they do is antiquated and bad.
and if you kill someone even if they volunteered to be degraded,tortured, hurt , etc… it is murder. maybe not 1st degree but it is murder.
The activity was dangerous and stupid and not something anyone should do, but what really appalls me is the way they acted after he was injured.
