50% Extra Time on SATs

Does 50% extra time on SAT’s mean that in a regular 20 minute section you would get 30 minutes?

yea…it does

Actually, no. If I remember correctly, you do NOT get an additional 50% per section. Instead, you’re given an extra 50% of the total time and left to your own devices to decide how to divide it among the sections. They record when you finish each section, but this is “strictly for research purposes.”

No, that’s how they do it if you have unlimited time I think, or maybe just the old one. For the new one you get 50% extra for each section

Well, I’ve never heard of unlimited time before. But yes, that was an old SAT and a few SAT IIs.

how do u get unlimited time?

I would assume that you take the same battery of tests as students who receive 50% extra time and demonstrate a truly outstanding need.
