Amazing!

yea, but I also heard that he is worth 1.6 billion; I guess it’s all relative…I don’t feel like doing the math…still amazing though…

i love the ny post headline on the Heather Mills/Paul McCartney divorce settlement: “a leg to stand on”

Now she can go marry another s**ker and raise the booty to $100 million!

I am betting that her karma will come back to bite her when her money attracts some handsome con man who gets a big chunk of her money during their relationship or afterward.

I’m not exactly sure on the math, but it seems Heather got less than 1/3 Kristan’s hourly rate for those 4 years!

Maybe the joke’s on Heather?

Geesh, with one hundreth of that amount I’d be very happy. And I’m a much nicer person.

When I saw the thread title, I thought Mrs. Spitzer had a really good, really fast lawyer…:o

(and that maybe she was getting paid in installments.)

1sokkermom–Mrs. Spitzer could hold out for Kristan’s hourly rate over the length of the marriage.

Does everyone feel that Heather Mills is an opportunistic b***h?

She asked for $231 million but now says she’s “thrilled” to have $50 million. Paul offered $31 million in the beginning, so I guess he “won.” Seems like she had to move a heck of a lot more than he did.

Forget the money - she was married to Paul! My 12-year-old dream. (Of course he was 23 then.)

over30, my sentiments exactly! All of you are just jealous that, not only did she get to spend four years as Paul McCartney’s wife, but she got $48million to boot! ;)

Good work if you can get it!

Paul McCartney wanted the file to be public and the judge agreed. A lot of celebrity TV shows will have fun with this one. Who knows what is in that file about the $50 Million Dollar Woman.

Does England not allow prenups? Anyone know?

^ Maybe they do, but I suspect that after McCartney’s solid and happy 29 year marriage with Linda, he perhaps naively thought he had a second chance for an enduring relationship.

All you need is love. :D

a “pre-nup” is not a “favored” agreement in England but they are permissible and finding more support in the Court’s. Also, I’d presume Paul has enough contact with the U.S. to have entered into one here perhaps. Either way he could have (should have?) given it a shot.

I think the song Sir Paul is left to sing now is Let it Be.

Actually I think I heard Paul singing this morning…Can’t Buy Me Love.

Rumor has it he’s considering a run for office in NY. Seems the Empire State has a real taste for carpetbagging officials with an appetite for costly associations and penchant for power. Gender not important
