<p>I know that for the 250 word short essays it will cut you off after the limit, even if you’re mid sentence. But for the 50 word answers will the common app cut you off if you go over? Thanks!</p>
<p>Why can’t you just type and find out? Regardless, I typed until it wouldn’t let me type anymore, which I believe was indeed at 50 words (although it may have been characters?).</p>
<p>I typed my answers on a word doc and then cut/pasted them in, and it let me go over 50 words so i wasn’t sure. thanks</p>
<p>Going over a few words here and there should not really matter…just make sure when you check the final printout/product…the actual words are all intact…good luck.</p>

I know for Yale they said about 25 words/ 150 characters but when I previewed the supplement it cuts off</p>
