510 baby!

I GOT A 510 FINALLY ON MY MATH!!! That may not sound alot for some people but I’m a senior on here and I started in 10th grade with a 310. 200 points increase after taking it 4 times!!! I’m proud and excited and happy that I now have an 1100/1600 on my SAT!

A 200 point rise is fantastic and really speaks to your determination! Congratulations and good luck…

JP,

You’ve worked so hard for this. Your determination should be an inspiration to all. Congratulations! What’s next?

Congratulations! I wish I could get a 200 pt. increase on my reading score :)

Well, I talked to my admissions officers and they still have to get an official report of the score and there still trying to go though the legal process with an incident that I got into in 8th grade (assault with a deadly weapon) which was a juvenile case; so I’m not quite sure.

the charge could be a problem, but good luck

Good job with that jump! About a fifth of my class got similar scores, so you’re alright. See if you can test again, though because the majority had it above 600 with each. Get there and you’re golden. You have nothing to lose, because I’m fairly certain they only look at your highest scores.

Don’t worry too much about that legal issue. I’ve seen people who dealt drugs in highschool but made it through. No one is condoning that sort of things, but you can get by with alot if you demonstrate a turn around.

One piece of advice, don’t let an initial disqualification stop you in the case it turns up. You can get things overturned or retest. I had to do both. Once you’re qualified though, the statistics say you have a very good chance.
