540 physics

I took the sat2 physics test for fun and as you may have noticed, I got pwned. Maybe taking the test without previous knowledge wasn’t a good idea after all… Anyways, I will be taking my first physics(ap physics B) class in the fall and I will definitely retake. Any advice for getting 550+ (other than doing practice problems)?

Read the PR book. Take practice tests from Kaplan and Barrons. Read Sparknotes the last 3 days before the test. You HAVE to be able to understand the concepts/fundamentals as well as memorize 50 ish formulas.

Also, if you are taking multiple tests on the same day, take physics first so you dont forget all the formulas.

If some of the topics seem too convoluted, then focus on kinematics/forces, waves, and electricity/magnetism. With those, you will get at least a 600.
