560 on McGraw Hill's SAT II math 2 catastrophe?

I’ve scored 560 on diagnostic test. is it catastrophe?
need to bring it up to 800 in 1 month. I’m good at math generally.

any suggestions? how hard is it to raise score by 250 points?
I’m scared a bit because I know that McGraw Hill’s tests are easier than actual ones.

If you’re good at math, generally, try another diagnostic test. If you get another 560, you’re either not good at math, or you are missing a specific test-taking skill. Why do you need an 800?

BTW, if you want to raise your score to 800, you need to add 240 points, not 250. Are you making the same mistakes on the test?

I know that 800-560=240
there are two reasons why I want 800. First, this score is adequate to math knowledge (I know this because I can handle much harder problems). Second reason is that I have low gpa (3.2-3.4 I’m international asking for near to full ride) and I want to get 800 in math 2 and physics. I know that they won’t make up for school grades but hope they’ll strengthen my application a bit.

P.S I’ve reviewed my mistakes. almost all of them silly ones. just need to pay more attention.

If you’re good at math, you shouldn’t be scoring 560. I would stick with the math (as opposed to switching) and work at your accuracy.

Also, what type of schools are you applying to? If they’re prestigious ones (like Harvard, MIT, Princeton), 800’s on math and physics alone usually won’t cut it.

I’m not aiming for such a prestigious school. My GPA just won’t let me in. I’ll go to almost any college that will offer me good financial aid package.
I’ll take another practice test today, after reviewing some math

Forums say that who get low 600’s in the Baroons get 750 - 800 on the real test. Good luck.
