6.0 Gpa?

at my high school (a top public school in Massachusetts) Honors and AP classes are on a 6.0 gpa scale, standard are out of 5.0 and “Fundamentals” (lower than standard) are out of 4.0.

Any other schools like this or are we just weird? Is this a good thing?

frisco isd in texas is like that

6.0 for ap
5.0 for honors
4.0 stds

We do not having lower than standard

“Is this a good thing?”

It’s neither good nor bad. Your school should explain is grading system in the school profile it sends to your colleges.

I’m not even sure why we have lower than standard either. I’m not even sure that it’s a special needs course, I think that’s something entirely separate :P

Back in my day it was called liberal. It is not special needs, it was classes for kids to fill grad requirements that were not going to a 4 yr
