please reply quick… is it true you need to put two sat subject test scores on the common app? i have one good score in chemistry and then those scores so it’s between those two, which is better a 690 in physics or a 710 in math 2?
bonus question: should i send sat subject tests to rutgers and purdue or they don’t require it??
No, you definitely do not need to put two sat subject tests on your common app. In fact, most schools do not require them (specifically if you take the ACT). And both of those scores are slightly above average, so you shouldn’t be afraid to submit both. Subject tests really only act as supplements to the rest of an application; they don’t really make or break an applicant. If it comes down to two people with the same SAT, GPA, etc, but one has more ECs and leadership while the other has a higher math 2 score, it is almost guaranteed that they will take the more well rounded student over the one with a slightly higher score. So in answer to your question, you might as well send your scores to Rutgers and Purdue, it certainly won’t hurt.
Hope this helps!
