I got 600v/520m on my first try with only a little prep. Is that good? I am going to take it again to qualify for Davidson Academy.

I went to CTY also! It was awesome! Going again this summer to LMU hopefully!
SAT 7th grade scores:
500M/570W/660R

As you can tell, I’m terrible at math :)

I posted this somewhere else already:
DS took ACT in 6th grade and SAT in 7
ACT 6th grade: 33 E/32 M/ 30 R/ 27 S
SAT 7th grade: 710M/700 CR/ 670 W

I did mine in 7th grade for the Duke TIP Program.

7th: CR 580, W 640, M 700
December Junior SAT: CR 780, W 800, M 770

Went from ~1600 to ~2300 from 7th to 11th.

7th Grade:23
10th Grade: 31

I took it last year (I’m currently in 8th grade), and my scores were 730M/700R/620W=2050. I imagine that if I took it now though, my writing score would be ~50 points since I’ve worked on essay writing a decent bit since then. As it is now, I am currently part of both the Davidson Institute and SET since neither of them ask for writing.

My son: took through Duke TIP - 26 Composite – 31 English / 30 reading / 21 Math / 24 Science. I’ve seen some people mentioning summer courses. I assume my son will be offered to take some summer coursework. Anyone have recommendations? This is my first rodeo and I want to give him every opportunity I can. He can’t get enough of learning.

Took a legit ACT practice test in 8th grade. (Now in 11th)

35E 28M 32R 30S = 31C

Friend took same practice test at same age, got a 24. ← He bragged about it too! xD

My son made a composite 21 on the ACT in 7th grade for TIP.

He made a 34 in 11th grade.

My son took SAT in 7th grade and then again this year in 11th. When he took the SAT in 7th grade we were told the average increase in 50 pts per year per section. His scores were very close to this. 520-560 per CR/Math section in 7th grade and 720/760 in 11th grade.

He didn’t need the Writing for CTY in 7th grade so I don’t remember his 7th grade Writing score.

Friend’s sibling (6th grade) took the PSAT writing from the booklet his older sibling brought home.

76W, 6th grade! (one wrong; finished in 3/4 the time allowed)

No, he is not asian… most people assume he is.

A composite score of 30-31 for ACT in the 6th grade is extra-ordinary.
