Hi everybody, I’m a current 7th grader that will be taking the SAT in late January. I’m just wondering if anyone has any helpful study resources or books they could recommend, as well as general test taking advice.

My son did this in Middle School. We did not have him do any prep - we simply used the opportunity as a “practice” for him. We were pleasantly surprised that he scored very highly.
If you want a book, just use the SAT book sold by College Board (the blue one). The test itself is pretty long. Pay careful attention to the rules & instructions. Take a snack. Dress in layers in case the room is too hot or cold. My D2 took it in 7th & 8th with no prep the first time, and a very small amount (1-2 hours) the second time.
Practice tests you can do at home are really helpful
