8-6 year accelerated med program

What do you do to get accepted into the accelerated medical program in an Ivy or any school for that matter? What does your academic standing need to be and what do they look for? Any advice from people who have gotten accepted?

you have to be really really smart. they look for people who know what they want to do. They want people who are positive to the max that they want to do medicine and are extremely focused in medicine with reason to back up their passion for medicine.

U gotta have som real high test scores
I know there is such a program at UCSD. They r asking minimum NOTE MINIMUM 34 on the ACT
Is that crazy or what

Get high SAT scores, a high GPA, high enough rank, and extracurriculars with research/medicine and a little bit of well roundedness

Take advantage of the essays and write unique (not the same story everyone else has). Also, make sure to get teachers that well give u drop dead unbelieveable recommendations.

Be sure to take AP courses (especially Bio, Chem, and Calc) and if ur a bit weak in academics then u’ll have to make up for it from ur ECs.

I’m guessing ur Asian, most likely Indian.
