I made this thread because i always seem to see redundant guides in this section. Hope this cuts down the number of guides on this section of test prep.

Oh, you’re back.

Your method is overkill.

Wow… Rush 15 has terrible amazon reviews.

[Amazon.com: 15 Realistic Tests for the SAT Subject Test Math Level 2: Up to date and true to life: with 3 fully solved bonus tests (9781451599787): Rusen Meylani: Books: Reviews, Prices & more](http://www.amazon.com/Realistic-Tests-Subject-Test-Level/dp/1451599781/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1287944511&sr=1-2)

Are you sure that’s the book to buy?

I actually agree with jason

i’ve studied the Rush book. all of the questions are lvl 4 and 5 (the back portion of the sat math 2c, the hardest portion). they are very good at predicting the q’s. it is very difficult, but worth it, and will get you the 800 if you get good scores on it

Overkill. You’ll just keep repeating your mistakes if you just keep doing practice tests without checking up on the concepts. Just get a SAT 2 review book, and complete it. Worked for me.

pay attention in your math class and you will be fine
the stuff is really straightforward, unlike the reasoning test

In a nut shell.

If one does Rush 15 and check work ------> 800 math 2.

No overkill. 1 test + checking = 1.5 hours. 15 tests = 22.5 hrs.

For 23 hours of work, you get an 800. This is the most efficient way.

^Or, pay attention, finish homework, and do well in your Pre-Calculus class. You get an A and an 800 without much outside study devoted to just Math II.

Woah, sounds intense. Is the Barron’s book for MATH II alright? I got around 740 on a practice Barron’s test-what would this translate in to?

Jason, I went through the entire book in about 8 hours. By my 800 Math 2 skills, 8 < 23.

Or just do a combination of kaplan’s and princeton’s prep books. I studied for about 5 or 6 days. Got an 800. Most of the concepts aren’t too hard, you just have to know what you’re doing.

Are the questions at least pretty accurate compared to actual level 4/5 questions?

dead accurate.

Its like a test full of level 4/5 questions. Expect your real score to be around 100 points higher than what you scored on Rush 15.
