Isn’t it supposed to be a positive number?

I know they got my check because it says they did on my bank account. It just looks…odd.
(I’m not a financial-bank-y person so I don’t know much about this kind of thing…)

Anything that shows up on your bursar usually means you paid more than you need to. But if it’s a deposit to enroll into the University, I’m not sure why it would say -850.

It’s probably the food/meal deposit which is $400, and the intent to university which is $450

400+450 = 850

Thanks for the response!
I guess it does make sense if it means I paid more than I needed to, because I was waived for my 850 deposit but I didn’t find out until I already paid

you have a -850 … because they waived you deposit… that is why… same thing happened to me. and the money is going to be going into ur tution so it doesnt really matter …
