I got a 2040/2400 in June. Would this be considered good, okay, or “mehh?” Also, I qualified for the JHU SET; does this help my college admission chances in any way? I emailed them my score asking to be invited, but nobody has responded for a few months…

A 2000+ is epic at any grade level :)! Great job!

I don’t know much about JHU’s program, but judging from the fact it only accepts people under the age of 13 that have scored a 700+ on math or verbal, it is likely to catch the attention of adcoms ;).

wouldn’t really say “epic” at any grade level.

Nontheless, it’s really good for eighth grade :).
