Schools

Applying to all RD, trying to look for something near Illinois

Safety: already got one, in-state

Target: Virginia Tech, Penn State

in-between: UW-Madison, Purdue

Reach: UIUC (applied test optional), UMich

I am looking for any more targets that are decent, once again preferring in Illinois or neighboring states. Prefer urban areas, no financial limit, not interested in Greek life/politics/activities. Please give any suggestions or chance me.

The safety has EE and/or NE? Virginia Commonwealth University is the only Virginia public with NE.

NE is the more limiting major, since there are not that many ABET-accredited programs for it compared to EE. Around Illinois not already on your list is Missouri University of Science and Technology.

The Nuclear Engineering program is part of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Virginia Tech.
