96 average for Jerome Fisher???!!!

I have a lot of other things that’d look awesome for JF, (SAT 2340, 3 SAT IIs all >750, lots of business and engineering experience) but I’m afraid my average is the only thing keeping me down! Is it?

And if it is, how do I compensate?

I had a 3.71 GPA and similar test scores (2380, 3 800’s on SAT II, research, etc.) and was admitted into the M&T class of '17. I’d say the most important thing on your application with your given statistics is the essay. I spent a LOT of time reviewing, correcting, and editing my essays, and I tried to show my passion for both business and engineering.

TLDR; essays.

There is no way that anyone can get >96% average if the tests are legitimate. Unless you go to a school with severe grade inflation that has students with 100%+ averages, your GPA couldn’t really get any better.

Retake, I have a 2350. :stuck_out_tongue: Thank you guys so much. Will work very hard on my essay.

you can go to almost any college you want with those stats i feel with the exception of harvard, yale, and princeton. This is assuming that you have good EC’s and a good essay.
