<p>Yeah definitely, the sooner that you’re exposed to AP level work the better! APWH - 4</p>

<p>I say if they have the ability, maturity to handle teh work, and interest, go for it. However, if they are not 3-5 capable, they shouldn’t be in an AP class.</p>

<p>I wouldn’t suggest taking APs in 9th grade, but it depends on the student. At my school, only 11th and 12th graders take APs.</p>

<p>I took 2 APs freshman year…it was a bit tough handling the coursework at first, and you should only take it if you’re INTENT on getting a 4 or 5. If your school has Human Geography, that tends to be a fantastic entry-level AP Test to take.</p>
