<p>I was accepted into LSP, which allows you to receive an A.A. after you complete the program. My classmate, who was accepted directly into CAS, wanted to know whether he would be eligible for an A.A. as well. I’m pretty sure it’s only available for LSP students (LSP students would get an A.A. in Liberal Studies, whereas CAS students who take MAP courses don’t specialize in a specific A.A. granting field), but I thought I’d ask just to make sure.</p>

<p>I am trying to ascertain the acceptance rate for high school students who wish to apply to for the associates two year degree. My son’s first choice is NYU, but I dont think he has the sat or grades to get into the CAS or LSP 4 year program. I was hoping going through the 2 year degree route and then transferring might be another way to get in. But how competitive is entry into the associates degree program?</p>
