<p>The kind that holds stuff. And that has handles so that you can either carry it on your back, or if you prefer, a messenger style bag.</p>

<p>So, it’s not advisable to get a laptop bag in this stage of studying !!</p>
<p>I would advise a laptop case. A text is about the same size as a laptop, so it could work.</p>
<p>By the way, what engineering if I might inquire?</p>

<p>Backpack if your looking for more of a freshman/sophomore look. This form is more of a casual appeal. Could be used when wearing casual wear. </p>
<p>Laptop/Messenger bag if you are looking for more of an upperclassman look. This form is more mature/serious appeal. Could be used when wearing either formal or casual wear.</p>
