A big jump on the score

So i heard that if there is a big jump on your SAT score, the CB assumes that you cheated and does not show your score.

Is this true??

I mean “big jump” as in 700 in ten months…

No. They might review your situation to check for cheating, but they won’t withhold your scores (or cancel your scores) unless they can definitively prove that you cheated - they do not assume that big jumps are the results of cheating and impulsively cancel your scores (or anyone who has had a big jump), but use these jumps as indicators for potential cheaters.

HOWEVER, if you did cheat…

Thank you @Lip7260 for answering my question. Of course I do not cheat. :)

If you had a big jump between two consecutive sat tests (“350” total or “250” in a single subject), they will delay your sat scores for 3 to 4 weeks but if they didnot find any cheating, they would release your scores. However, if you cheated, they will cancel your sat scores. Fortunately, they donot cancel scores until they find strong evidences to support cancellation.

Thank you @Lovetheself for answering my question. :)
