I have a pretty low GPA right not (3.4ish UW), but i also take the hardest courses my school provides (All ap’s and honors). The first time i took the SAT i got a a 1930 (CR:660,M:680,W:590), i took it again in June and i got a 2150 (CR:800, M:690. W:660). I have only taken one SAT II (USH:740). I really need to bring my SAT up to help alleviate my low GPA, but i also need to take more SAT II’s. So this brings up a variety of questions.

Is it possible to take the SAT again plus the SAT II’s again in time for college Apps?

I don’t know how i got an 800 in CR, i did like little to no prep for it. So if i improve my writing and math by alot and my CR takes a bit of a nosedive. Will colleges look badly on it? (i’m hoping for a good superscore).

Is there any chance i can get in to a good college >.<?

a 2150 is a great score!!! id suggest taking SAT IIs in october (especially if you plan on doing EA/ED, although you dont sound set on one place) and then SATs in november (for regular decision). if youre not happy with those scores, you can take either SAT Is or IIs in January for RD.

You’ll get into a great college. Don’t worry about it.

We still have quite a # of test dates left before regular decision, maybe not before ED though, depending on the college.

You could probably get into a “good” school but barring some stupendous EC or something, the Ivies are beyond you :)

but, like, honestly, who cares. harvard CANT be right for everybody. youre going to find a fantastic and prestigious university that wants you just as much as you want them. you dont have to go to an ivy to be successful.
