Hello everybody,

I am 20 years old and I want to attend college this Spring. I was home schooled and graduated in 2009, I have a 3.2 GPA and a 22 on the ACT. I plan to go to Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and get a degree in Criminal Justice, I hope to become a police officer then eventually go into a field specializing in narcotics. I have just started looking for scholarships and I’m finding everything a bit overwhelming. I do not qualify for work study or grants, but definitely can’t afford college. I have some questions, so let’s get started.

Where is the best place to apply for scholarships for the spring term?
Is it too late to apply for scholarships for the spring term?
What advice can you give me?

Again I stress the fact that I know almost nothing about searching for scholarships and applying for student loans. I just really want to take the next step in my life! I will take any and all advice you can give me.

Thanks for your help,
