I was admitted to UC berkely, but i missed American culture and math55(discrete mathematics) since there are not these two courses in my college.
so I wanna find a college around berkely which has these two courses to take in winter session ,as we know berkeley does not offer winter session so we can make use of this time to fullfill my 120 units.
Is it a good idea??

I’m not sure if you’ve seen this page yet but these are the only schools that offer a class that fulfills American Cultures.

[Approved AC Courses at Other Colleges | UC Berkeley Academic Senate](Approved AC Courses at Other Colleges | Academic Senate)

I think you can definitely try to take it during winter! That’s a good plan. I don’t know much about the particular math class you’re taking, but I’ve been trying to fulfill AC over this summer and I’ve had a really difficult time with these issues…

Not all of the classes listed are even offered over Summer session.

Though I applied to ~10 CCs, my registration priority is so low at these various schools (since I’d technically be a new student) that the classes have been filled before I can even register.

I live in Orange County and there are barely any schools that I can go to down here to fulfill this andddddd

The online sections fill up before the other sections so it’s pretty limited.

My advice is to find out what schools offer Winter Session and apply as soon as possible so that you have a registration date in front of some of the other new applicants. Schools that DON’T have a waitlist usually give you a better shot because you can continuously refresh the page to see if people drop too :)
