<p>First off, I have been getting 2000-2100 on the SATs. I also took a SAT Math IC and got a 680 (:() I am going to take SAT IIs for Math IIC and Chem and I expect tog et 720+ and 700+, respectively. I am currently have done 2 years of marching band and one year of pep band (which count as school and community service). Besides that, I haven’t really done much. I have a 3.6-3.7 unweighed GPA and 4.3 weighed GPA. I am in my Junior year. </p>
<p>Question 1: Is this close to good enough to get acceptance as premed?
Question 2: I am a little hazy about the whole medical program. I want to eventually become a General Surgeon, but I want to the combined MD/BS course, so I don’t have to reapply for Med School. I was wondering, so, is it in Med School, when I choose my surgery practice?</p>
<p>Sorry if my questions are stupid. All my close relatives have done college and grad school in India. My cousin goes to PennState, be he doesn’t know much about the medical field. Thanks!</p>
