A Comic Strip that hits too close to Home

[Today’s Zits Comic Strip - ArcaMax Publishing](<a href=“Zits | Comics | ArcaMax Publishing”>Zits | Comics | ArcaMax Publishing)

That was from last month - I printed out a copy in color! You’re right - it’s much too close to home.

Here’s another one I liked…

Too funny Grcxx3. My friend’s daughter decided not to go to James Madison…her reasoning was she didn"t like purple and yellow together!!

Born2RunMom - my son ruled out two schools…one because of he thought the band uniforms were ugly and one because he thought the mascot was “creepy!” Whatever…

As for purple and yellow - well, I’m from New Orleans, and I think those colors look GREAT together - especially with green mixed in!!! ;)

These are great!!!

I just bought a huge green and white sheet cake to take to my s tomorrow when we pcick him up at Tulane. Its his birthday Sunday and it was hard to find a Tulane colored cake amongst the mothers day flowery ones!

My 8 year old added Williams to my 9th grader’s college list because when he was young he had a thing for cows & for purple – She sees it as a sign ;)

Helping the older nieces is really effecting my kids…

^

Every school D attended (elementary, MS, HS) had purple as one of their colors. On her first visit to one particular school (sophomore year of HS), she noted the purple school banners and took that as a sign.

She is now a student at that school.

LOVE the Zits comic! My son was almost involved in his college search … so different from his older sister. I did get him to consider a few schools that have his intended program & he applied/got acceptances. In the end, his non-participatory nature yielded exactly one school we could afford (all you need is one). He is not excited at all … just resigned to attending. Gee, dude, maybe you should have listened when Mom kept telling you that lack of EC’s will most likely result in lack of scholarship money. And you might have listened when Mom said that you should be considering a few other schools. And you could have listened when Mom told you we only have X amount of money for college & this particular school not only costs Y but doesn’t give scholarships for kids in your particular program. But I digress … (and in the end, the school he will be attending is actually a very good fit for the kid)
