<p>I’ve just noticed that in all of my essays (my two supplement essays and the common app essay I’m writing right now) all have a unifying idea about being aware and thinking for yourself, specifically about politics and religion. </p>
<p>Now, I can see this being both a good or bad thing. It can show my convictions and a solid belief that I hold, but it also may only portray me as one-dimensional.</p>
<p>Am I just overthinking this, or is this a bad thing?</p>
