<p>Consolation/mathmon: I agree and say the same to DW but she is insisting that she won’t stay close to her and will only meet her after the interview.
The associated socialization is going to happen the night before the interview and so that won’t be disturbed.</p>

<p>Let DD have the time to herself to look into potential housing, explore the area, and so forth. DW can fly to Boston if she want to have a visit, can’t she? This doesn’t sound like it would be worth it.</p>

<p>BTW, what did you decide to do about your house?</p>

She may be spontaneously invited out to coffee/dinner or an unscheduled event after the interview so her making the excuse “I can’t, my mom’s waiting for me at the hotel,” is not the last impression she wants to make to future employer and co-workers.</p>

<p>Thanks Consolation. I’m also not in favor as DD is stressed enough juggling so many things.</p>

<p>I didn’t proceed with second and bigger house idea. I’ve made changes to our 10 yr old house by replacing carpet with marble in the living and hallway and wood on the stair and upper level hallway. Also changed the entry door to dungeon door type and changing the grage door to match it. I also did some nice lightening in all bed rooms and installed Bio-Bidet 1000 in all 3 bathrooms, which I’m really enjoying.</p>

<p>DW is happy with the changes and have desire to do some more modification in the kitchen and installing an outdoor kitchen. I’m waiting on Costco to bring the outdoor kitchen island and will be installing the same over the spring break.</p>

<p>Yes, that is what my biggest worries too because DW will insist on Friday night dinner which might put DD in a embarrassing situation if she had to go to another social event.</p>
