You’ll get in.

Your 33 in the ACT is pretty good, but your other stats seem to be mediocre (especially your GPA). GPA is what matters the most to public universities; I think it is better to get a higher GPA than a higher ACT score. A 670 in Math IIC is mediocre (imo); I think a good score would be 750+ (I got a 790, and I am 99.5% sure that everyone from my school who got into UCLA had a 730+ score on Math II).

If your stats fail you, your personal statements seem to have the potential to carry you. You’ve been through a lot and your hardships will definitely be taken into consideration. Just remember not to write sloppy essays–REVISE REVISE REVISE!

Your extracurriculars seem pretty good. Most UCLA students have some sort of e.c. like that. Note, though, that colleges don’t really care if a student is a secretary of some club. A president of a prominent club is what they’re looking for (imo).

Low-income family…this can only be neutral/plus thing for you. The implication of a low-income family (if you don’t know) is less exposure to resources (people/program and material-wise).

Since I’m not a science major, I’m not too familiar with the science department. From what I’ve heard, though, Phy Sci is the hardest science major at UCLA. Take that as you will.

I can’t really tell you what your chances are because you left out a critical detail: your ethnicity.

If you’re not Asian/Caucasian, you’ll make it.

If you are…then you have a 50/50 chance. It’ll all depend on that personal statement.

i am what your call other asian meaning im arabic

You should be able to get in.
