A cool way to find out if you got in...

I gave my screen name and password to a really good friend of mine. She’s gonna check to see if I got in and if I did she’s gonna call me and say good job. And if I don’t, she’s gonna call me and ask me out to coffee and say that MIT doesn’t deserve someone as amazing as me.

I love good friends! :)

Ah you lucky :(*. BUt wait… its only 5 days lol.

Trust me on this.

If I let any friend of mine check for me, and I actually got in, they’d call me up and tell me to come with them for coffee, console me, etc. Afterwords, they’d tell me that I got in, and I’d die of a heart attack.

So… don’t believe your friend, neccesarily…

I did something similar. A good friend of mine called me the day scores went out, woke me up, and told me I got in. It was an amazing feeling. Honestly, having a friend tell you is pretty awesome. I would imagine waiting for the envelope has got to be exciting as well…

My parents checked my AP scores for me last year and called me while I was having dinner with my brother and his girlfriend. Which was really cool since I got all 5s and was like “YAAAAAY!!!” Unfortunately, the girlfriend didn’t seem to like it too much since we were in a restaurant and she thought I had no social restraint or whatnot. Maybe SHE should’ve taken AP courses in high school…then she’d know.

I also had a friend check for me. Then again, I was at SciOlympiad. Still, it’s much better to have a friend check.
