Hi! So recently my friend told me that some colleges count A-s in weighted classes as 4.5 points instead of 5. Is that accurate?

I’m worried because for all these years I was under the impression that as long as we got an A- in an AP or Honors class, we would be receiving 5 points. Also, all schools don’t use the same grading system. For example, at our school an 89.5% is still considered an A- but my friend’s school counts it as a B because it’s below 90%.
