The real registration will be done at orientation, but how do you plan and schedule classes before-hand? Is it through myUCLA?
Also, we are required to send our final transcripts and AP test scores. I’ve sent my transcript through my school… but for sending the AP scores, is it the same process as last year? Through collegeboard?

You can plan your schedule beforehand by looking at your major’s catalog, asking an older friend from the same major, or just exploring the UCLA catalog. You can look at the class schedules and the class planner at MyUCLA. You do not need to send AP scores if you listed to send UCLA the scores during the AP test. Otherwise, do so when the scores come out by mail.

The AP scores should be out last week of June, before the first orientation.

check your major’s website…there should be a list of all the classes you need to take to satisfy that major. then go on the class planner in myucla and look at some classes in order to see what combo would best fit your desired schedule, etc.

like the above said- use the “class planner” link on my.ucla

it is the MOST invaluable tool ucla will ever give you. plus if you’re bored it’s fun to play with ;)

the class planner is amazing! be careful though b/c sometimes it will tell you that your classes won’t fit. Change around the discussions, etc. using the one-by-one tool and you should probably get everything to fit in one way or another
