A crazy idea to get around a bad schedule?

So I am a junior in mechanical engineering now and I didnt get a good time slot for ME360(controls) which means having to register for a bad ME320(fluids) time slot. If I get the controls time slot I want, then I won’t have to take fluids 830 on north Tuesday and Thursday. I am thinking, assuming the exams are the same for both sections of controls, that I just register for the bad time slot, and only go to the lecture for the better time slot for the whole semester. This is essentially my question: Does anyone know if ME360 has the same exams for both sections?? I am unable to get an override.

When I took 360 last year, both of the sections were completely different. Kuo and Stein taught completely differently and had different HWs and exams. Hell, even different content. I would strongly advise against doing this.

You’re certainly not the first person who has thought of this, but it just doesn’t always work out. This is possible for some classes, but not others. And from what ThisIsMichigan just said, it sounds like it’s a bad idea. Mostly everyone has to take an 8:30 class sooner or later, so you should probably just suck it up for a semester and do that (sorry if that came off as rude, I’m not trying to be).
