A curious problem

I received the gates millennium scholarship for 2011. However, I have a curious problem 2nd term in high school. School is about to end in a couple days and things were going all well for me in all my classes… that is until last week. I failed a calc exam pretty badly and now I’m on the edge of a 65.2 test average. I’m taking finals in the upcoming week and I’m worried that if I get less than a 60 on the final I’ll fail calc. I talked to my calc teacher about the problem and he said he’d do his best to pass me so that means I’ll end up with a 65 at the least.

Will this make rescind my gms application? They didn’t give me any specifics other than wanting my final high school transcript. So I’m guessing they really need to see your 2nd term senior year grades… How will this affect me and what should I do?

You should call the GMS office right away. I don’t think this will eliminate you from receiving the scholarship, but I would double check with their office.
