<p>2006 FRQ Question 2b : 60 root t times sin squared of t divided by 4 is greater than or equal to 150</p>

<p>lol its so wierd how the simplest things i cant remember… can anyone help on how to solve it with a calculator or manually? I managed to solve it with a calculator but it only got 1 value which is 16.12 but i couldnt get the other one.</p>

<p>You can use the solve function on an 89.
solve(150 = 60<em>t^1.5</em>sin(t/3)^2, t) | 0 < t < 10</p>

<p>Or you can graph 150 and L(t) and find the intersections within the interval.
Or graph L(t) - 150 and find the zeroes. </p>

<p>I wouldn’t bother doing it by hand :-)</p>
