<p>ok so do we get majors on a first come first serve basis? like lets say i have bad stats, but im in the top 25 percent and 1300 sat, can a certain major still say no to me if i apply before they are full? or can a major reject me? and when do freshmen admissions for high school graduating class of 2012 open? thanks</p>
<p>Usually, I believe the majors will have their own requirements, but they are not that high from what I remember. Like I think you had to get like a 650 on SAT Math as a requirement for engineering. If you have decent stats and apply early you will probably not have a problem getting rejected from your major. 2012 applications will probably open sometime in Augusts/September.</p>
