a few questions, please

Hi ! Would please help me about something

Did you fill the additional space provided in the Common Application? Do you think it is necessary and I should do so?

Do you know what “employee tuition benefits” is?

Do I need to write a preferred name when they ask me?

no. no and no.

no.

no.

lol, sorry this probably wasn’t much help. more of a bump.

Yes. Only you would know.

No.

Do you have one? It’s because sometimes your recommenders might use another name in their letters. If you have one then put one.

Thanks for the answers:) Just one more question - do you know what abbreviation for “certificate” I can use so that they understand me?

(I know the question is not really smart but right now im quite in a hurry and cannot concentrate)

Yes, but it was all stuff that didn’t fit into the provided boxes (e.g., I have more siblings than the application provides for. I didn’t write another essay or anything). I would recommend using additional info only for spillover or if there’s some sort of extraneous circumstance that has an effect on some part of your application (a death in the family caused a major drop in your sophomore grades, that sort of thing)

I think it means…well you know how jobs might have insurance benefits? Some employers will reimburse part of your tuition as part of the benefits of working there. Usually there are provisions–you have to work a certain number of hours, you have to have been working there for a certain amount of time, you have to attain a certain GPA, etc.

if you have a preferred name

Cert.? Just a guess.

thanks a lot;)
