A Gift (Basket) To You From You

There was a time that I actually sent myself two boxes of Godiva chocolate and a note, “Don’t you think this is a bit excessive?”

I’m imagining the hat from the Cat in the Hat Comes Back with his helpful “little cats”

Ok, then. My basket would have an eight-week-old Maine Coon kitten.

I think you’ve got the wrong price-point, but I love the idea. Mine would be a bengal.

Definitely exceeds $200!

A basket of kittens from the local shelter for me, please!

My husband would divorce me upon its arrival. Yup, I too love cats!

I would love a gift basket from my favorite independent/neighborhood bookstore. With a $200 budget I could get 5 newly released hardcover books of my choice as well as a store branded mug and one of the locally made candles they sell.

I failed, I opened up my last Amazon order of Swiffer wet jet pads, turns out they’re fakes, and my ShopRite didn’t have them. Our 14 year old dog, due most likely due to her cancer, had to learn to use a wee wee pad at night and isn’t always accurate, so I even paid $2.99 for 2 hour delivery. She also wakes us up to let her out every 2 hours at night. I still mop daily.

I’d like a basket with wine, cheese and chocolate (H just gave me some chocolate covered pretzels today from a great local store).

Only shelter animals for me. All of our cats have been rescues, Coons included, and have never paid more than a small adoption fee, if that.

At the risk of being boring: a bottle of Veuve and some Belgian chocolates, and I’m good. Maybe some fresh cherries.

But one of those with a cheese selection, some crackers and spicy jams will work well too

For a food basket I’d get some great cheese and pate selections from Zingerman’s and some great wine, Margaux or Amarone and Neuhaus chocolates.

For an activity I’d like a basket with fabrics and notions for a quilt. Maybe a new technique I haven’t tried like English Paper Piecing especially with splurge Liberty London fabrics.

Several bottles of flavored olive oils from Italy.

Super expensive lotion from Jo Malone or Diptyque

I like the idea of Veuve Cliquot and chocolates too!
