check out USC, it has one of the best performing arts schools in the country, one of the best business schools. Also a beautiful campus in Southern California

When you bring thousands of young adults together at close quarters … then add palm trees, warm weather, and an interest in extroverted majors like performing arts and business … you are likely to get some parties. If that’s a show-stopper, check out schools with strong religious affiliations, like Brigham Young.

If you’re willing to ignore the party factor, you might also like the University of Miami.

A few offhand: UMiami, URichmond, Tulane, Vandy, Duke, UNC, UVa, USC, UCBerkeley, UCLA, UC Santa Cruz (I’d check into all of the UC schools and see where you fit academically), UTexas - Austin.

Based on the OP’s comment regarding the Northeast, I don’t believe he lives in California. Therefore I don’t think the UCs are good options unless he’s fully prepared to shell out $55k+ a year.

OP, if you want more urban schools in warm areas you should consider University of San Diego and LMU. Neither are particularly Catholic, although USD is slightly more religious than LMU. They’re both mid sized private California universities with majors in the fields you want. You might be able to receive at least decent financial/merit aid from them (USD and LMU seem to give preferential financial aid based on how strong an applicant is). Your stats would put you in the middle 50% for both schools.

Well I wanna get a scholarship, my family is poor and I live in the Northeast, California might be too far but my parents are willing to move there for me.

Well my family might have enough money to pay but I wanna get scholarships, hopefully.
I’m looking for colleges that is less strict on SATs but requires at least a 3.6 GPA.
