A good minor to pair with a Sociology major...?

My goal is to diversify my skills by choosing a minor to compliment a Sociology Degree. What types of minors are a good one-two punch?

It depends on your interests and what you want to do. A minor doesn’t need to be directly related to your major.
To improve employability: statistics; economics; a core set of basic business courses (accounting, finance, management, marketing); human resources; communication; Spanish; GIS

If you’re planning to go to grad school or professional school:
Urban studies; criminal justice; political science; religion; economics; statistics; communication; GIS; human geography; cultural anthropology; history; human development; psychology; language/area studies; American studies; ethnic studies

Statistics. Definitely. If you go to graduate school, you will inevitably come into contact with stats in some fashion; if you have a more “robust” background in statistics, yo will certainly be positioned better when it comes taking the lead on research projects or the like.
